FOUNDER

Rafiq el Khazen was born in Paris in 1977 from a Lebanese father and French mother. He is a father of 3 children and currently resides in Beirut. His background has been in the financial services industry since 1998 after having graduated from Pepperdine University with an Economics & Finance degree. He started his career at Merrill Lynch in Beverly Hills before branching out with his own firm. It’s the sedentary lifestyle that was dictated by his profession that led him to be obese on multiple occasions.

After several failed diets whereby he would gain back the weight he had lost; he decided to create his own diet by mimicking our ancestor’s most probable alimentary & exercise habits. The consequence of his newly-created "diet" was a loss of 35 kgs in 6 months coupled with an amelioration in all physical & mental departments (in essence, one of the keys to keeping the weight off is having lost it naturally, slowly).

The effect of this diet has been so immense that it’s now no longer a diet. It’s a lifestyle. A life. A life that he now seeks to share with the world by founding Sublime Life in 2020 and partnering with the appropriate experts in the fields of medicine, nutrition and fitness.
